Session 1: Regular Papers

Welcome to the Regular Papers section of CAAD Futures 2025. This page provides essential information for authors of accepted Springer Book and Companion/Compendium Book papers. Please review the details below carefully.

Conference Details

  • Dates: 2–4 July 2025
  • Location: The University of Hong Kong

Important Information for All Paper Authors

  • Registration Requirement: Each accepted paper must have at least one uniquely registered author.
  • Submission Format:
    • Submit both the original file (DOC or LaTeX) and an exported PDF version.
    • Package these files in a ZIP folder for submission via EasyChair.
    • Download the paper template in DOC or LaTeX format.
  • Contact for Invitation Letters: Request an invitation letter for travel arrangements by emailing caadfutures2025@hku.hk with your submission ID.

Springer Book Papers

  • Key Dates
    • Submission of Revisions & Responses: As soon as possible, no later than 14 April 2025
    • Final Abstract Submission: 26 May 2025 (for inclusion in the Companion/Compendium Book)
    • Final Publication: After the conference, end of July 2025
  • Requirements
    • Anonymization: Ensure your submission is fully anonymized.
    • Response to Reviewers: Include a point-by-point response to reviewers as a DOC or PDF within your submission ZIP package.

Companion/Compendium Book Papers

  • Key Dates
    • Final Camera-Ready Paper: 26 May 2025
  • Requirements
    • Reviewer Feedback: Authors are strongly encouraged to address reviewer feedback in the final submission.
    • Anonymization: Final papers should not be anonymized.
    • DOI Assignment: All accepted papers will be assigned a DOI.
    • Supplementary Materials: Authors may include supporting media (e.g., video or image summaries). Guidelines will be released shortly.

Poster Exhibition

  • Submission: All Companion/Compendium Book authors are invited to submit a poster by 26 May 2025.
  • Details: Posters will be displayed throughout the conference with dedicated plenary sessions for viewing and discussion.

Highlight Presentations

A select number of outstanding Companion/Compendium papers will be chosen for short-form presentations during a plenary session. Selection will be announced by the end of the month.
