Tickets

We are pleased to announce that ticket sales for CAAD Futures 2025 are now open.

Tickets can be purchased via the official registration portal.


Ticket Categories

Three types of registration tickets are available:

  • Regular Ticket – HKD 5,400
  • Student Ticket – HKD 2,700
    50% discounted, available exclusively to students currently enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s level programmes
  • Supported Ticket – HKD 275
    Reserved for approved authors from low- and lower-middle-income countries (as defined by the World Bank)

An optional printed hard copy of the Companion Publication can be purchased for an additional HKD 500. Copies will be distributed at the start of the conference.

A 10% Early Bird Discount is available for all ticket categories until 25 May 2025. Subject to availability, late registration tickets will be offered at a 10% surcharge starting 22 June 2025.


Publication Requirements

  • In-person presentation is mandatory for inclusion in the Conference Companion Book or Springer Book Publication as well as participation in the Catalytic Interface (CI) programme.
  • Regular papers (Springer or Compendium): At least one presenting author must register, pay by 1 June 2025, attend in person in Hong Kong, and present at the scheduled time.
  • CI position papers: At least two team members must attend, with one registered and paid by 1 June 2025, and the work must be presented in person. More team members are warmly encouraged to attend—the more, the merrier—to ensure rich and engaged participation.
  • Each accepted paper (regular or CI) must be linked to a unique, fully registered conference participant.

Reduced Fee Tickets

Student Tickets

Available only to individuals enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programmes (PhD students are not eligible).
To validate eligibility:

  • Submit proof of enrolment (valid student ID + current registration status)
  • Email to: candylnt@hku.hk within 7 days of purchase
    Failure to comply may result in cancellation of the ticket without refund.
Supported Tickets

Subsidised tickets are available for:

  • Authors from World Bank-classified low- or lower-middle-income countries
  • Who have successfully passed peer review and require financial assistance

Prior approval must be obtained by contacting candylnt@hku.hk
Tickets purchased without approval may be deemed invalid without refund.


Tours of Hong Kong

A curated series of cultural and social activities will be offered throughout the conference week and weekend.
These include:

  • Guided architecture tours
  • Field excursions to key sites
  • A Junk Boat Party in Sai Kung

Tickets for these events will be sold separately and released at a later date.
